The Emergency Food Pantry in Fargo, ND is looking for a compassionate and energetic individuals to join our team in providing healthy food to low income households in our community.

Services Supervisor

Key duties: coordinate pantry services and records storage; work directly with food basket recipients including screening for eligibility and delivery of food; support volunteers including recruitment, scheduling, and training; maintain social media presence, daily warehouse tasks, ability to be certified of forklift. Able to work independently and with a team and be able to lift at least 20 lbs. and 40 lbs. regularly.

Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent, 2 or 4-year degree preferred. Previous non-profit, volunteer, food services, social media and/or records management experience desirable. Compensation based on qualifications and experience. Full time position offers a portion of single health insurance paid by pantry. Includes paid holidays and Paid Time Off.

The majority of the work schedule will be Monday through Friday day time hours. Hours may include one to two evenings each month, and a weekend shift approximately four times each year.

Part Time Food Pantry Assistant

The temporary position will be approximately a three-month position for Summer 2024.

Key duties: complete tasks to maintain day-to-day operations which will include checking-in clients, filling food baskets, answering phone calls, sorting food, filling shelves and fridges, pre-packing food bags, and supporting volunteers.  Able to work independently and with a team and be able to lift 20 lbs. to 40 lbs.

Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent. Previous non-profit, volunteer, food services experience desirable.
